This Master's degree has been offered online since 2008, making it one of the longest standing online legal programs in the United States. Program Length: The program is 24 units, with most courses lasting 8 weeks. The Program is designed for working professionals, with only one course taken at a time! If desired, students can finish the degree in one year.
Student to Faculty Ratio: The online programs maintain a very low Student to Faculty ratio to ensure individualized attention for each student. Courses average a 6:1 Student to Faculty ratio.
Entirely Asynchronous: Completely on your schedule. There is never a specific time where you have to be at your computer. Learn on your schedule!
What to expect each week in a course? Generally, each week you will complete the following: 1) Discussion forum participation; 2) Watch recorded professor lectures; 3) Complete assigned reading; 4) Complete assignments (generally 2-3 per term).
How are students assessed? All assessments are designed to prepare students to become practitioners. Generally, students will partake in real world client scenarios-such as writing memos or conducting relevant research and writing projects.
